Ogura in Haneda Airport

Hi! Today, I'd like to introduce a Japanese restaurant and a beautiful place at Haneda Airport International Terminal. First of all, the International Terminal is very quiet because of the corona virus. Most shops have been closed since April and only a few cafes and restaurants are open. I was used to seeing many restaurants full of customers, so I felt strange that there were only a few customers and such a quiet atmosphere.

I had dinner at Ogura (おぐ羅) with my friend! Ogura is a Japanese restaurant. The menu in front of the restaurant had set meals, udon, a la carte, etc., but when I got to my seat, I was a little disappointed that there were only a menu with 10 items of set meals. I ordered a bowl of eel and rice (うな丼). The eel was fluffy and went well with the rice. You can sprinkle Japanese pepper (山椒) as you like. If you sprinkle Japanese pepper too much, you may sneeze, so be careful. The bowl of eel and rice is 1800 yen and I thought it was good for dinner. The atmosphere was calm and very quiet.

After dinner, I went to the observation deck. The observation deck is open 24 hours a day. You can go there whenever you want. The sound of the airplanes was noisy and the wind was strong and it was chilly, but beautiful lights created a romantic atmosphere. I could see Tokyo Sky Tree and Tokyo Tower! I've been to Haneda Airport, but I've never been to the observation deck, so I didn't know it was such a beautiful place!
