Hi! Today, I'd like to introduce a good restaurant and aquarium in the Omori area! Do you like Thai food? I've eaten it only 3 times. Recently, I found a delicious Thai restaurant. Thai Smile Kitchen is located at Omori Station. I went to this restaurant with my friend. You can find it if you leave the Omori Station and walk along the nearby shopping street. This restaurant has the unique smell of Thai food, so maybe some people feel uncomfortable about it. The atmosphere was not bad, but very quiet. There are some tapestries on the wall and you can feel a Thai atmosphere.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, I ate lunch. There are 10 items on the lunch menu. I haven't eaten Thai food so much, so I ordered Gapao & Green Curry (850 yen) recommended by the restaurant. And my friend ordered Khao Man Gai (850 yen). I especially like summer rolls (生春巻き), so I ordered it as a set (+100 yen). I've eaten Gapao rice before, but I've never eaten green curry and I couldn't imagine the taste, so I was excited. The green curry was a little spicy and I felt the flavor of coconut. I like coconut, so I liked it very much. It was more delicious when I mixed Gapao and Green curry. Although it was less than 1000 yen, vegetable soup and dessert were included, so I was quite satisfied!

Next,
Shinagawa Aquarium is near the restaurant, so I recommend going there before or after lunch. (Sorry, the aquarium's address is not at Ota-ku, but it's about a 15 minute walk from Omori Station.) Tickets are 1350 yen for adults. I was sad because I couldn't see the show when I went because of the corona virus, but now they do the show. There were various kinds of fish and I saw the zookeeper feeding the fish. If you go there, you'll be able to take a lot of instagrammable photos, so you'll have fun!
